Batts Rock beach
Beautiful, unspoilt Batts Rock Beach on the west coast, Barbados
The Crane Resort
The Crane Resort Barbados, the island’s oldest resort, established in 1887. Here you’ll enjoy old-world charm, spectacular views, my favorite restaurants in Barbados and a setting that’s gives you no choice but to kick back and relax.
View of Skeete's Bay Barbados
A birdseye view of Skeete’s Bay, Barbados. This quiet, breezy inlet is home to a sleepy fishing village, tucked away on the the island’s rugged south-eastern coast. What a contrast with the west coast’s calm Caribbean Sea!

A bit about me

My life and writing are defined by my insatiable curiosity – I guess that’s how I’ve ended up living in four countries, seeing 49 US towns and visiting 18 countries and counting. Immersing myself in the culture and character of a place is the norm for me, even in my home country, Barbados. From award-winning essays to articles in national publications, I have a track record of quality writing that makes editors’ lives easier. Actually, I’m passionate about helping others discover places and activities that can make their lives better in some way. As a certified wellness coach, I’m keen on topics that link travel with my 3 favorite Rs – rejuvenation, relaxing retreats and real wholesome food! My motto – enjoy life to the fullest!

My most meaningful trip: Cape Town, South Africa

My top architectural gem: Vienna, Austria

Most refreshing breezes ever: The Crane Resort, Barbados
